"FLA develops youth resiliency and leadership to create long-lasting systemic change by empowering and mobilizing youth leaders to advocate for policies that improve their lives and the lives of their peers and their communities. In service to community, Future Leaders of America provides leadership training, educational experiences, and promotes the personal development of youth and families, for the purpose of fostering a greater awareness and participation in responsible leadership in a global and democratic society."
"Through our academic mentorship program, students will have personalized time with a current College/University student to go through the whole application process including financial aid applications (FASFA/Dream Act). In addition, we will be offering weekly virtual services that consist of Tutoring, Writing: The College Essay and scholarship, and Application Assistance to students throughout the academic year."
"Khan Academy is an American non-profit educational organization created in 2008 by Sal Khan, with the goal of creating a set of online tools that help educate students. The organization produces short lessons in the form of videos. Its website also includes supplementary practice exercises and materials for educators."
